Dr. Rivera is proud to be a part of the Designing Smiles family, providing compassionate, expert dental care to patients of all ages. Whether it’s a child’s first visit or a complex adult procedure, Dr. Rivera enjoys helping every member of the family achieve a healthy smile in a way that feels approachable and stress-free.

Dr. Rivera earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2022, going on to complete an additional year of advanced training at the Rose F. Kennedy Center in the Bronx, a renowned center dedicated to the care of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This experience deepened his commitment to treating every patient as a whole person, with patience, empathy, and skill.

Dedicated to inclusive care, Dr. Rivera has experience delivering care in a sensory-adapted dental environment. This allows him to tailor the clinical experience for patients with sensory sensitivities, ensuring that every visit is calm, predictable, and supportive.

When not in the office, Dr. Rivera can usually be found in or near the water. An avid open water swimmer, he finds joy and balance in the outdoors bringing that same focus and calm to his patients every day.
